For four generations the House of Gripoix has created haute couture jewelry for Chanel, Dior, St. Laurent, Givency, and others. The tradition lives on in the Histoire de Verre, a contemporary line created by the grandson of Madame Gripoix. Using the pate de verre or poured glass method each piece of jewelry is meticiously created by hand and unique.

Histoire de Verre Marquerite Daisy Necklace features three poured glass daisy blossoms of translucent poured glass and yellow glass stamens. Necklace is completed by emerald green glass leaves in a goldtone frame. Necklace is 16 ". Price $1250

H de V French Blue Poured Glass Necklace The House of Gripoix created jewelry for Chanel and other leading couture designers for several years, specializing in pate de verre or the poured glass method. They are now creating contemporary Bijoux Fantasie under the name of Histoirre de Verre. This exquisite necklace features a center flower of cobalt blue translucent poured glass attached to a necklace of blue petals all encased in a goldtone setting. The petals are accented by small and large beads of glass. One of the small beads is larger than the others, it may be due to the hand pouring of the glass or it may be a replacement. Either way it does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Signed Histoire de Verre, H de V, and Made in France. Length is 18 inches. Price $1250
From the House of Gripoix, contemporary H de V French Poured Glass Brooch & Necklace. The flower brooch is handpoured glass in the pate de verre style with petals of amethyst & carnelian and leaves of amber glass. It can be worn as as brooch or on a necklace of amethyst glass beads . Signed H de V and Made in France. Brooch is 3" by 2", necklace is 16 1/2" long. Price $850
